My team focused on the design and implementation of adaptive software components that are essential for a customised implementation of mobility services. These modules included digital road maps, geographic search, intermodal routing and navigation. Our team added great value to cross-platform and cross-vendor services that run in a hybrid fashion on mobile devices and web browsers.

As the Head of Product I owned the vision of the map product and its roadmap and kept the team focused on our customers and the market.

  • Build and lead a 20+ person product team of engineers, software developers and designers
  • Developed and sold the business strategy for the moovel map product portfolio for the Daimler Financial Services group.
  • Develop a detailed roadmap and business plan for the moovel maps product
  • Lead the analysis, design and product development process to build an in-house mapping technology stack, from SDKs for embedded systems to web services
  • Analyse market competition, potential public/private partnerships and customer segments
  • Plan and execute internal marketing and sales activities
